What will you gain?
Start Alliance Vienna is a two-week program aiming at helping startups, which consider expanding into Austria and they are located in cities from Start Alliance partnership (Warsaw, New York, London, Paris, Shanghai, Tel Aviv and Vienna).
Participation in the program will allow you to:
- establish business contacts with representatives of the Vienna innovation ecosystem;
- take part and present your project during two top startup events – WeAreDevelopers World Congress and Pioneers 2018;
- take part in workshop sessions, thanks to which you will learn how to find the right investor for your company or how to stimulate the growth of company and others;
- explore the Austrian market and get contacts to institutions supporting startups;
- receive a refund for travel and accommodation expenses (up to 14 days);
- free access to the co-working space in Vienna (up to 14 days).
The following expenses for one beneficiary per startup are granted up to 50% of their value and cannot exceed the sum of EUR 2,500.

What are the requirements?
Start Alliance Vienna program is directed to startups which:
- operate no longer than eight years;
- are beyond the idea/prototype stage and have already successfully launched in their domestic market;
- plan to expand into the Austrian market
- and are located in one of the cities from Start Alliance network – Warsaw, New York, London, Paris, Shanghai, Tel Aviv and Vienna.

What are the stages?
In order to take part in the program, you need to complete the short application form available on the dedicated website – until 19 April. The list of qualified start-ups will be announced in mid-April. The program will take place on 15-30 May.
What's next?
The agenda will include following events:
- workshops – during which you will find out how to access investors and how to boost growth of your company by B2B sales and others;
- events WeaAreDevelopers Congress and Pioneers 2018;
- meeting – The ABC of Austria and Europe (facts & figures and public supporting structures) & Evening-Networking Event "How to make most of Pioneers 2018";
- GIN Corporate Day – Building bridges between top Austrian and international startups with corporates.

Responsible subjects
Start Alliance is an initiative of Berlin and the Berlin Partner organization. It is aimed to network the most innovative cities in the world and create a platform for the flow of innovative companies. Warsaw's participation in the network is co-financed from EU funds as part of Next Step Poland project, which is implemented by three institutions from the PFR Group – Polish Development Fund, Polish Investment and Trade Agency and Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
