What will you gain?
The main point of the program is TEP (Transatlantic Entrepreneur Partnership) conference, held in New York on 15-19 October. During the conference you will have the opportunity to meet key people from the world of startups and modern technologies in the USA. Last year's edition included representatives of Google, Uber, McKinsey & Company, Microsoft, Samsung, Tumblr, AT & T, Sony, ESPN, CMS, MasterCard, BMW and Ventures and many others.
Your startup can also take part in a series of webinars before the conference. The webinars will consist of five 40-minute expert presentations, followed by Q&A session during which startups that want to expand to the Atlantic and launch in the US, will gain the necessary knowledge, skills and tools to successfully enter New York market.
Participation in the program will give you an opportunity to:
- take part in the TEP conference;
- the opportunity to participate in workshops in the field of business development, public relations, project financing and others;
- join startup meetings
- use free access to the co-working space of one of New York partners for the duration of the program (up to six weeks).
Remember that expenses for travel to New York are not covered by the program.

What are the requirements?
Start Alliance New York program is directed to startups which:
- operate no longer than eight years;
- are beyond the idea/prototype stage and have already successfully launched in their domestic market;
- plan to expand into the US market
- and are located in one of the cities from Start Alliance network – Warsaw, New York, London, Paris, Shanghai, Tel Aviv and Vienna.

What are the stages?
In order to take part in the program, you need to complete the short application form until 3 September (available under Apply button).
What's next?
The agenda of the program includes the following events:
- TEP conference;
- a series of webinars preparing for the conference;
- workshops on business development, PR, HR, legal, raising funds etc .;
- meetings with the most important players of the NY technology scene;
- training session on which you will learn how to pitch your project to investors;
- and other external events addressed to startups.

Responsible subjects
Start Alliance is an initiative of Berlin and the Berlin Partner organization. It is aimed to network the most innovative cities in the world and create a platform for the flow of innovative companies. Warsaw's participation in the network is co-financed from EU funds as part of Next Step Poland project, which is implemented by three institutions from the PFR Group – Polish Development Fund, Polish Investment and Trade Agency and Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
