What will you gain?
Start Alliance Berlin is a two-week program, which is intended to help startups located in cities from Start Alliance partnership. Companies which consider expanding into German markets may apply to the program if they are located in the following cities: Warsaw, New York, London, Paris, Shanghai, Tel Aviv and Vienna. From 2-17 May 2018, young, innovative companies will have a chance to meet key players and partners – relevant to their business as well as to find out more about Berlin startup community.
Participation in the program will allow you to obtain:
- the opportunity to participate in workshops in the field of business development, public relations, project financing and others;
- an easier path to obtain contacts to VC funds;
- free tickets for the Cube Tech Fair;
- access to a free co-working space at one of the partners for the duration of the program (or longer);
- accommodation voucher.
At the end of the Start Alliance Berlin you will take part in Demo Day, during which you will present your project and you will have the opportunity to get to know the most important players of startup stage in Berlin.
Remember that travel expenses to Berlin are not covered by the program.

What are the requirements?
Start Alliance Berlin program is dedicated to startups, which:
- are beyond the idea/prototype stage and have already successfully launched in their domestic market;
- consider foreign expansion;
- they work on IoT solutions;
- and are located in one of the partnership cities – in Warsaw, New York, London, Paris, Shanghai, Tel Aviv or Vienna.

What are the stages?
To participate in the program, it is enough that by 1 April you will fill out a simple application form available on a dedicated website.
What's next?
The agenda will include following events:
- CUBE Tech Fair;
- workshops on: raising money, business development, PR, recruiting, legal, etc.;
- various group activities such as knowledge exchanges;
- business breakfasts;
- pitch training session;
- final Demo Day;
- external startup events.

Start Alliance is an initiative of Berlin and the Berlin Partner organization. It is aimed to network the most innovative cities in the world and create a platform for the flow of innovative companies. Warsaw's participation in the network is co-financed from EU funds as part of Next Step Poland project, which is implemented by three institutions fromthe PFR Group – Polish Development Fund, Polish Investment and Trade Agency and Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
