Take part in economic missions to the Republic of Korea or Bonn

If you are involved in the widely understood technology sector or you are interested in green technologies and you would like to present your projects abroad and establish new business contacts, familiarize yourself with the travel opportunities offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Even this year you may apply for economic missions to the Republic of Korea or take part in the mission as part of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Economic mission to the Republic of Korea

Companies involved in technology sector have an opportunity for a departure, held on September 16th-20th. Participation of Polish entrepreneurs in the economic component of the visit of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. M. Magierowski in Seoul, aims to support the identification of the Korean market and therefore to reach Korean companies interested in innovative solutions developed by Polish companies.

During the economic mission, you may participate in individual meetings with Korean partners e.g. representatives of Korean corporations and parts of state administration responsible for acquiring technology from abroad. Therefore, it is planned to organize a seminar presenting selected Polish technologies, including:

  • FinTech,
  • virtual reality;
  • connected health;
  • artificial intelligence;
  • machine learning algorithms;
  • big data;
  • gaming.

Application for a departure along with the name of the company and short company description in English shall be sent to [email protected] till September 29th 2017.

Organization of mission depends on applications number. The final decision shall be made by October 4th.

The departure as part of COP-23 Conference in Bonn

With regard to participation of official Polish delegation at the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is recruiting the Polish enterprises from the green technology sector which are interested in promotion of their projects and products during the events. 

The visit is planned on November 14th-16th 2017. Its purpose is to present the offer of Polish companies in the field of widely understood technologies and environmentally friendly products.

Companies that will participate in the mission will be provided with:

  • participation in the conference as observers, as well as the possibility of admission to the so-called "blue zone" that is not available to the private sector registered on COP-23 apart from the official governmental channel,
  • the support in the meeting organization with the representatives of official delegations of the states that will be present on COP-23,and thus the opportunity to present the offer in front of geographically distant yet developing countries,
  • transport from / to the airport provided that the connection from Warsaw to Dusseldorf on November 14th at 07:35 AM and from Dusseldorf to Warsaw on November 16th at 07:45 PM is selected.

The participation in the mission will not only be an excellent opportunity to present the achievements of Polish companies in the field of widely understood green technologies, but also to start discussions leading to the acquisition of contracts abroad.

Due to the need to officially notify the members of the business delegation to the secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, declaration of participation shall be reported until September 29th 2017 but indication of person representing the company shall be reported until October 6th. The applications shall be sent to [email protected] and include the following data in English:

  • name of the company
  • a brief description of the activity
  • and information what markets are the most interesting from the company perspective.
