Start of the Manager Academy for the SMEs

If you want to find out what your company needs or raise the qualifications of the managerial staff, use the consulting and training services offered as part of the Manager Academy run by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP)

The initiative is addressed to owners of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises as well as employees of companies from the SME sector – both at managerial positions and those to whom managerial promotions are planned.

The program will consist of three stages and will include the following elements:

  • stage I: diagnosis of the enterprise's needs, which will help to draft the specifics of business and outline business development plans;
  • stage II: diagnosis of competency gaps of the managerial staff or people envisaged to take up a managerial position – as part of this stage, you will use your company's diagnosis to identify competence gaps of the managerial staff or people intended to take a managerial position and establish development plans for it.

After these stages, you will get recommendations regarding the development of the managerial staff or people envisaged to take a managerial position in the context of the company's development plans.

In the final stage, you will start the implementation of development activities – you will receive support in the form of training and consulting in the field of universal managerial competences.

Please note that the support will cover only consultancy and training services available in Baza Usług Rozwojowych.

The project will be available to companies located in five macro-regions of Poland, including following provinces:

  1. Kujawsko-pomorskie, Podlaskie, Pomorskie and Warmińsko-mazurskie;
  2. Lubelskie and Mazowieckie;
  3. Małopolskie, Podkarpackie and Świętokrzyskie;
  4. Łódź, Opole and Silesia;
  5. Dolnośląskie, Lubuskie, west Pomeranian and Wielkopolskie.

The process of selecting operators who will be directly responsible for supporting startups has just been opened. The call for proposals will run from 30 March to 11 May 2018.
