Learn more about Polish Tech Bridges program and conquer foreign markets

Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) has just launched Polish Tech Bridges program. Thanks to it, companies from the SME sector will gain a comprehensive support in the development of enter strategy on foreign markets.

The program is dedicated to companies from the SME sector, which:

  • are planning foreign expansion;
  • have high internalization potential of their product, service or technology;
  • and their activity is part of National Smart Specializations (KIS).

Startups may also benefit from the program if they plan to increase export or consider investments on foreign markets, as well as innovators who may profit from the initiative if they look for foreign partners to conduct research and development (R&D) works or external sources of financing of this activity.

The program consists of:

  • an open marketing strategy workshop, which will be held before application call and assessment stage;
  • a domestic stage;
  • and a foreign stage.

As part of the domestic stage, entrepreneurs will take part in workshops on creating an individual strategy of international expansion. It will be developed with assistance of Polish and foreign experts from the target countries, i.e.:

  • USA, Canada, Mexico – the application call is planned in the second quarter of 2018;
  • Vietnam, China (including Hongkong), Japan – the application call is planned in the third quarter of 2018;
  • United Arab Emirates, Iran, Kenya – the application call is planned in the fourth quarter of 2018;
  • Turkey, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, India, Norway, Switzerland, Ukraine, Russia and the Republic of South Africa.

Please note, that at every stage of program implementation you will receive substantive support of external experts and representatives of PAIH Head Office and Foreign Trade Office – also during the relations with local business partners, as well as within the so-called post-project care.

Under the program, it is possible to gain the financial support up to PLN 200,00.

Polish Tech Bridges program is aimed to provide companies with professional tools that will prepare them to go outside Europe and to navigate them in a new business environment on foreign markets. The initiative will be implemented until 2023.
