Join Polish stand at SXSW 2018!

Have you ever considered how the oldest in the world startup-music-film event – South by Southwest (SXSW) – looks like? If you would like to present your products or services and gain valuable business contacts, use the opportunity of the Polish stand.

Startup Poland Foundation has already started the recruitment process of six Polish startups which will participate in Polish stand organized by Adam Mickiewicz Institute (IAM) and Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) during the SXSW Trade Show.

SXSW is scheduled on 9-18th March 2018 in Austin, Texas. The applications can be submitted until 12th December. In order to take part in Polish stand, you need to fill in the application form. Next, the jury consisting of representatives from Startup Poland, IAM and PAIH will select six projects, which will join Polish stand during the Trade Show. The following criteria will be considered:

  • Diversity of projects in the final six;
  • Willingness to enter into foreign markets;
  • Stage of development;
  • Widely understood „WOW factor”.

The selected companies need to bear costs of flights and accommodation. IAM and PAIH are responsible for pavilion organization, renting space as well as for providing conference tickets for one representative from each company.

At SXSW so far staged following Polish companies: Booke, Blast Lab, Cityglobe, Filmaster, HiProMine, Scubaphone, Spendolater, Espeo Software, 10Clouds and PromoTraffic.

SXSW conference is covered by the export support program for the IT/ICT industry conducted by PARP.
