The SME Development Centre has been launched

The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) has just launched the SME Development Center – one of the projects included in the Strategy for Responsible Development. It is a brand under which the agency will offer trainings or consulting servcies dedicated to companies from the SME sector.

The newly created SME Development Center will integrate the services previously offered by the institution, but it will be also gradually introducing new ones. They will be addressed both to future entrepreneurs people who plan to start a business and to existing companies at various stages of development, including these which are:

  • in the growth phase,
  • at the stage of foreign expansion,
  • in trouble and during restructuring,
  • during succession,
  • and also for startups.

Currently, the offer includes e.g a service for companies based on the assessment of their ability to absorb innovations, which is carried out with Innovation Health Check and IMP³rove tools. The mission of the SME Development Center is "Inspiring, informing, training, advising and networking of entrepreneurs and people intending to start a business". The above plans will be implemented, with the usage of online communication tools, such as online lectures, online trainings, webinars, e-learning trainings and chats with experts. Until today, numerous companies have benefited from web-based seminars organized by PARP.

PARP provides information, training and mentoring services in the field of law, international public procurement, management, marketing and business financing. Shortly, a program addressed to people managing the process of implementing innovations in SMEs and large companies will be launched. The Center will be also supporting the succession process in family businesses and offer training in the field of SME management.

The Center will be financed from from structural funds, EU grants and from the government budget.
