Warsaw joined the group of innovative cities of Start Alliance network. Find out what are the benefits for your firm
If you run an innovative company located in Warsaw and you are planning to move your offer outside Poland, discover Start Alliance programs. Warsaw has just joined the network of innovative cities and thanks to that you can take part in special programs that will expand your activity to new markets.
During this year's edition of Wolves Summit, held in Warsaw on 10-11 April, Warsaw was announced to join the international business network of Start Alliance. Thanks to the partnership, innovative companies from the capital will be able to take part in special programs aimed at supporting Polish companies in internationalization. Initiatives of the Start Alliance are addressed primarily to those entrepreneurs who have had the prototyping phase behind and have a finished product on the domestic market.You can apply to all programs from the network offer.
Currently, two of them are being recruited – Start Alliance Vienna, Start Alliance Berlin: Smart Cities. Recruitment for both initiatives lasts until 19 April. Participation in the program will allow you to:
- participate in workshops during which you will learn e.g. how to raise funds for projects and gain potential investors;
- participate in trainings in the field of PR, HR and legal regulations regarding conducting business on EU markets;
- meet representatives of the selected ecosystem;
- gain valuable business contacts;
- use free of charge the co-working space and develop your project side by side with foreign startups in such cities as: New York, London, Paris, Shanghai, Tel Aviv, Dubai and Vienna.

Start Alliance is a network of public and private partners conducting acceleration activities, combining start-ups and large companies (corporations), in such cities as: Berlin, New York, Tel Aviv, London, Paris, Shanghai, Vienna and Dubai. The goal is to combine the most innovative cities in the world and create a platform for the flow of innovative companies. Instead of competing with each other, companies get the space to establish cooperation and build new, international relationships. This year, thanks to the Next Step Poland project, which involves three organizations from the PFR Group – Polish Development Fund (PFR), Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) and Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) – Warsaw joined the group of innovative cities.
