Start of PFR Innovation Designers – learn how to develop innovative ideas

Warsaw, Gdańsk, Poznań, Wrocław, Lublin and Kraków – six cities where workshops will be held this year as part of PFR Innovation Designers. The program is addressed to people who want to develop and work on current and future ideas – primarily for students.  The inauguration of the initiative was held on 19 November at Campus Warsaw and was combined with the first round of the workshop. Registration for events in other cities is still open.

Creativity is like riding a bike – you can learn it. Similarly with eating sticks or cooking. Using these catchwords, Google and Polish Development Fund have launched a nationwide educational project – PFR Innovation Designers. Program includes a series of free workshops conducted in Polish cities, where qualified trainers teach creative thinking and make innovative ideas using the design thinking method.

Design thinking is a systematic process of developing an idea from the initial stage to a prototype. Google employees use this method every day to create innovative products. Qualified trainers will demonstrate how to identify real users' problems, create radically innovative solutions and test created concepts of products and services.

Free design thinking workshops are just one of the elements of PFR Innovation Designers. The trainings that will take place this year and the assessment by the participants will allow to plan further activities supporting creativity on a national scale.
