The PFR School of Pioneers Gala – we know the winner of the 2nd edition
The Final Gala of the PFR School of Pioneers took place in Central House of Technology. The winner was chosen from 14 innovative technological solutions. Read the report from the Gala and find out which projects were the best.
The PFR School of Pioneers is an international educational program addressed to technological entrepreneurs and visionaries at the beginning of their business journey, organized by Polish Development Fund and Allegro. During four intensive weeks including three-week workshops in Warsaw and one-week business training in Berlin, participants gained valuable entrepreneurship skills and knowledge necessary to start their own activity in tech industry.
During the official Gala innovators presented their solutions in front of the jury, representants of PFR Ventures funds, journalists and invited enthusiast of technology. From 14 presented ideas jury have chosen the winner – Unicorn VR World – an innovative method of therapy for children with an autism spectrum. The solution combines virtual reality technology with data analysis, creating a safe space in which a child develops his or her social and personal competences. As a prize, the winning project received PLN 5 000 to be spent on participation in an international technology conference. Additionally, the jury awarded two projects: Wirtualny Nauczyciel and WakeUpGuru. GrainER – and incubator for agricultural seeds – has won hearts of guests and received the audience award.
The B2B meetings with Investments Funds cooperating with PFR Ventures and the presentations of representants of program’s partners – PFR, Allegro and GERMANTECH also took place during the event.
